This privacy policy explains what information Sudoku.io ("the site", "we") collects when you play, why it is collected, and what choices you have. Sudoku.io is operated by Henke Games Studios.

Summary

You do not need an account to play. We do not ask for your name, email address or any other personal detail, and we do not run our own server-side user database. Your scores and settings stay in your own browser. The main third party involved is Google, which serves the advertising on this site.

Information Stored on Your Device

Sudoku.io uses your browser's local storage to remember:

• Your highest score.
• Your settings, such as sound on/off, dark mode and board glow.

This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us. You can erase it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain, which will reset your high score and settings to their defaults.

Analytics and Search Data

We use Google Search Console to see how the site performs in Google search results. This provides only aggregated, anonymous statistics such as how many people clicked through from a search query. It does not identify individual visitors.

Advertising

This site displays advertising served by Google AdSense. In connection with this:
